On smaller labels and packages, alternative Nutrition Facts panel formats may be used and still maintain FDA Compliance. Supplement Facts
Supplement Facts panels can be generated from existing data, lab analysis, or from your formula. Each Supplement Facts panel is custom developed by our food label consultants according to the data provided by the Client and the space available for labeling. Supplement Facts panel type size requirements vary depending on the size of the package or label, and the number of nutrients or Dietary Ingredients to be declared. Optionally, source ingredients may be incorporated into the main part of the Supplement Facts panel, for example “Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 45 mg 50%”, or the source ingredients may be listed separately in an Ingredients Statement below the panel.
